A group of students who are participating in a university's summer science camp are drawn into an incredible quagmire of conflicts, ranging from the relatively simple conflict between an engaging and forthright young teacher and his older manipulative colleague, to a contest pitting political correctness against free scientific inquiry. Despite the murkiness of some of the issues in the latter conflict, the students pitch in enthusiastically on what they believe to be the side of righteousness, and passions rise to fever pitch.

一次偶然中，身负重伤的河康遇见了善良的医生美珠（金贞恩 饰），在美珠的悉心照料之下，河康渐渐康复，他的心中亦生出了对美珠的爱慕之情。不幸的是，美珠对黑帮深恶痛绝，声称绝不会和相关分子有任何瓜葛。而河康养父的亲生儿子亦对美珠情有独钟，一边是自己炙热的感情，一边是残酷而又无法改变的事实，在理智与情感之间，河康会做出怎样的选择呢？。
