拥有极高游戏天赋的打工人陆北，魂穿当下最热门游戏“九州世界”中，成为游戏NPC。然而，他一想到玩家们常常违背游戏规则，欺负游戏里的NPC，为了避免自己也有相似遭遇，他励志要在这里变强。
不久，一群满怀怨气的玩家们集结起来，发誓要让游戏里的大魔头魂飞魄散。除了陆北，他就是那个所谓的魔头。。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
