A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。该片背景聚焦上世纪70年代的香港，讲述了正义的廉政公署人员白玫瑰，奉命潜伏到黑帮大佬雷万豪身边收集罪证，在意外发现雷万豪的神秘身份后，白玫瑰仍旧坚守信念将两大涉黑团体悉数抓获的惊险故事。。陈土是一个在外地打工的村民。儿子在村内割腕自杀未遂，却因此让陈土发现了自己和儿子血型不匹配，懦弱的陈土不知所措。自我斗争后的陈土还是选择了为王政的老婆献肾，以期不让自己的老婆离开自己，进而维护自己的家庭。戏剧化的剧情出现了，王政的老婆因肾源排斥反应去世，凑巧，王政也无端失去了生命，陈土在得知事情的原委后在亲情和恩情的选择中，无所适从的陈土疯了，最后在亲情的帮助下，陈土得以重新面对生活，重新思考人生，重新承担起身上的责任……。
