本片为《坎达萨米一家》系列电影的第四部，双方亲家为了迎接孙女的降生而前往毛里求斯，却在那里惹出滑稽可笑的麻烦。热爱美食且梦想成为插画师的24岁少女赵小辛，突如其来的种种衰事令她的人丧到极致，偶然间，赵小辛看到关于治愈民宿的公众号文章后独自一人来到治愈民宿这里求治愈，然而民宿老板方大招此时陷入了生意危机，为了保住自己心爱的民宿，他决定忽悠小辛留在这里当厨师。赵小辛和方大钊一同因为美食和经营民宿的缘故，认识各式各样的民宿客人，在治愈民宿共享和经历了一段段看似微不足道却感人至深的友情、亲情、爱情故事……。A young Aboriginal couple bring home their second baby.
