宋真宗宠妃刘妃（李若彤饰）一心想当皇后却无生育能力，婢女李馨月怀上了宋真宗的龙胎。刘妃、庞太师、太监郭槐（曾志伟饰）等人设下狸猫换太子之计，其中郭槐还出于私心设了计中计。李馨月产子当天，受指使的接喜婆尤娘子掉包用一只狸猫换掉了皇子，骗宋真宗说李馨月生下了一个怪胎。宋真宗将李馨月打入冷宫。真皇子流落民间，刘妃和郭槐派人开始了一系列追杀……。Based on the 1980s comic books by Tadeusz Baranowski, is primarily aimed at children. “But the element of nostalgia is obvious for today's 30- or 40-year-olds, who often are also parents, and I care about this intergenerational, shared experience of the film.
