She doesn’t want a baby. ...。啞吧（金峰）幼時被家人遺棄，自小被賴家獨子金火（張佩山）欺侮，但依然性格善良且樂於助人。金火娶得美麗的新娘秀枝（凌波），然而金火粗暴的個性嚇倒新娘，加上金火與已婚女工阿滿（凌玲）有染，從此對新娘不但全無興趣並經常打罵。啞吧為報賴家養育之恩，隱瞞阿滿與金火的姦情，令金火免牢獄之災。秀枝感激啞吧替夫解圍，為其縫製了一套新衣，遭夫痛毆，並把啞吧驅逐出門。後來賴家遭人縱火，啞吧向賴家奔去捨己救人……。
