曹警司为了使过气黑帮头子戴哥大做警方污点证人，指证黑帮头子巫二器的罪行，设计逼犀牛皮、大生地、花塔饼、罗汉果等四位有福星之称的私家侦探做卧底，曹又派他的女儿高级帮办Banana应征做女佣人暗中保护他们。四福星入狱救出戴哥大，同往找他的女儿Mina，适值巫二器正欲迷奸她，他们把她救出，戴哥大感激四福星，答应做污点证人指证巫二器的罪恶，但给巫二器想尽一切办法开脱了罪名。曹警司又安排Banana诈被巫杀死，激发起四福星替她报仇的斗志。片末，四福星和警方一起逮捕了巫二器，把他领导的匪帮全部消灭。。Restoration carried out by the National Museum of Singapore and the World Cinema Foundation.
