残月之夜，塔纳迪普独自在位于知名闹鬼地区的祖宅过夜，想找出为什么有鬼跟着他，与此同时，一群不速之客意外激怒了鬼魂，导致人心惶惶，塔纳迪普必须回溯这片土地的过往才能找出全部真相！。电视台记者安吉拉和她的摄影师，一起被派去跟拍洛杉矶某消防局的夜间工作。在接到一个普通的9·11报警电话后，安吉拉和消防队来到了一座小公寓楼里，却发现已经有警察在现场勘查情况。原来楼里的某个妇女感染了某种病毒，一些居民因此受到了她的攻击。随后一行人原本想离开这里，没想到相关部门竟将整栋楼都隔离了。电话、网络、电视等通讯设备都被切断，他们无法再与外界取得联系。当隔离终于被解除后，唯一能证明楼里发生过什么事的，只有他们所拍摄的录像带了。。everyone wants to know who the Mexican is.
