Plebs follows three desperate young men from the suburbs...。为了资助丈夫吉亿（孙贤周 饰）念书深造，家境平平的福秀（金惠善 饰）不惜甘做卖鱼女，维持家计。最终，吉亿众望所归的成为了医院的教授，而此时功成名就的他却开始嫌弃起了粗枝大叶的妻子。
罗花莘（吴贤庆 饰）是福秀最要好的朋友，嫁给了福秀的哥哥，两人从此成为了一家人。然而，福秀明明知道哥哥在外彩旗飘飘，却对罗花莘隐瞒了实情。没过多久，福秀亦发现了自己的丈夫在外面和他的初恋情人旧情复燃，再加之福秀的母亲一直苦于丈夫的花心多情，一怒之下，福秀将一切都告诉了罗花莘，两个女人联起手来，决定报复她们不知廉耻和满足的丈夫们。。该片主要讲述父亲胡溢为了让儿子胡浩然摆脱手机的束缚，用尽了各种极端手段。然而，在一次看似绝望的回乡之旅中，父子二人却意外找到了“放下手机”的奥秘。。
